SAS Netball Club Tournament 2010

On Saturday 4th September we held our 4th annual tournament at Stanborough School, Hertfordshire. Running the same format as last year we had 42 teams participating  were fortunate enough to have teams from various areas around the country including Norfolk, Loughborough, London, and Sussex.

With the weather being kind once again it was great to see some different teams enter again this year with matches of a very high standard from Premier to local league. The matches heated up as we went through to the knockout rounds and on to the quarters, semi's and the finals of both the cup and plate. There were many local teams represented in both the club and plate sections.

It was Raiders and Sussex Thunder through to the final while Bush Twyford & Turnford 2 were in the plate final. The cup final was a very tense and exciting match with the winners of the cup being Thunder and the winners of the plate competition was Turnford 2.
