SAS NEWS 2009

SAS NETBALL CLUB FINISH ON A HIGH - April 2009

All 3 teams at SAS have had a great season and have had the best results in Aylesbury since they all entered the league. After SAS Regional Squad won SR Div2 they also were unbeaten in ADNL winning the Premier League by 8 points, the Reds came 5th in the same division which is their highest ever position within the league and the Blues managed to avoid the playoffs by coming 6th after a nail biteing end to the season where it could have gone anyway.

SAS SR DIVISION 2 WINNERS 2008/09

SAS thought automatic promotion had slipped away after loosing to 2nd place team Applemore by 1 goal in the dying seconds of the game, but after the final weeks results SAS are celebrating winning Div 2 by 7 points. What a change a week makes, bring on Div 1!!

LOOKING FORWARD TO DIV 1 - AUTUMN 2009

SAS are looking forward to starting a new season in SR Div 1 and the challenge ahead. In the past teams who have gone up yo Div 1 have ended coming straight back down at the end of the season so we are all aware of how tough it is going to be. Our first few games were tough but enjoyable, and we were pleased with the start we got.

At the half time point in the season we were extremly pleased with our 4th position.
