SAS NEWS 2010

JERSEY OPEN - February 2010

Luckily this year Jersey did not clash with regional fixtures so we were able to take 2 teams, we always love the standard of the matches and this year was not disappointing. Both teams ended up in the cup after the first round of matches and the first team were unbeaten. Having played some of the best netball this season the team linked together really well and worked really hard for one and other we managed to get into the final by beating St Lawrence in the Semi's and faced Covent who we had beaten by 1 in the rounds earlier in the day. Unfortunately it wasnt to be and we ended up loosing the final 18 - 11 after only being 2 down at half time.

May 2010

Final placings in ADNL best results by far ever produced which was pleasing. SAS 1st and unbeaten for 2 seasons on the trott and SAS reds came 2nd.
SAS Blues came 4th this season which was another great result.

SR League - April 2010

Unfortunately due to injury and work commitments we lost a few games that we really should have won so was disappointed with our final position in the table at 7th but our aim this season was to maintain our position in Div 1 we managed to do. We are all looking forward to next season and the challenge ahead.
